Creation of Maps & Sections
We can take your field data and present it to you an a variety of graphical and illustrative ways using the standard ArcGIS methods, something a little more bespoke in Photoshop or a combination of the two.
We have found that augmenting of images in graphics packages such as photoshop really helps with presentation materials for public consumption. We can work to specifications to ensure the highest resolution for output, such as web, print and large format.
Statistical Analysis
Any geological program produces a huge amount of data, much of which goes unused.
We have had success in analyzing complete sets of geochemical data to discover trends and threshold limits. When this is combined with geological mapping information, it has even been successfully used to map out generalized ore-bearing lithologies from soil samples thus allowing field geologists to focus their efforts in areas that are most likely to prove fruitful.
Conclusions & Recommendations
We are happy to review your exploration program and make a summary of conclusions from the work to date, and make further recommedations for future growth of a project.
Orientation Surveys
An orientation survey is a valuable tool in any exploration program and a worthwhile time investment.
The survey will look at geochemical data collected from a project site, and then analyze it according to the following criteria;
- the nature of the deposit being sought
- the geochemical properties of the elements that are likely present
- geological factors that will cause variations in the background geochemical levels.
- environmental / landscape factors that can influence the geochemical expression
By performing such a survey, a real understanding of a sites potential and highlights of 'external influences' can be ascertained ahead of any investment into more costly exploration activities such as drilling.
Drill Interval Calculations
We can also take your drilling data and calculate any significant intervals intersected in the core and provide numbers that come with the stamp of a professional geoscientist (PGeo).
We are also happy to look over historical data to put that into a more relevant context, or to provide a second opinion to your internal results.
These calculations can also be applied to trenching assays.
