Why use a consultant?
Hiring consultants to assist you makes a lot of sense these days. The markets are unstable and as such investors are not willing to take the risks they were before. That ultimately means that the flow of cash into exploration has been stemmed considerably.
But of course, consultants make valuable contributions to your work in the good times too. Here are a few reasons why you should consider hiring a consultant.
-
They offer a fresh perspective. They will hold an objective and unbiased view to your project that someone closer to it may not be able to step back and see.
-
Well-developed approach. They are experts in their field, and as such have the skills, tools and methods to assist with your project.
-
Avoid undue staff pressures. Using a consultant does not overburden existing staff, allowing them to concentrate on day to day operations.
-
Improves the bottom line. It is much more cost effective to hire a consultant to perform a task than to have the same level expert on staff.
-
Bias for action. The focus that a consultant has for your project ultimately is driven by the aim to complete it successfully, thus increasing the speed of delivery for you.
-
A consultant will provide focus, clarity, energy and confidence for you, your project and your company.

Our consulting process.
We follow a simple process for all our projects with measurable benchmarks at each step.
Initially we will enter into talks with our client and outline the required project details. Then we will make a preliminary plan of action for review. Once this is agreed upon then we will issue a contract for the project that outlines the steps to be taken, the cost and payment benchmarks.
Once the project is confirmed, we enter a research phase, where we will analyse your data, undertake background research and provide some initial feedback to our client, either for project progression or as a general update.
Next comes the action! Whether developing a plan for a new process or interpreting your geochemical data, this is the stage where you will start to see your results. Again, this will be reviewed with our client to discuss any further adjustments or proposals.
If we are drafting a procedure for you, then we will enter the implementation phase where we can assist you with the set up, adjust the proposal and train / coach staff.
At the end of the process, we provide you with a finalised report or procedure, and if required then suggestions for follow-up or further work. At this point the initial contract is finished and all work is complete.
