Graphics, Design and Digital Work

ArcGIS
We can take your data and process it using ArcGIS to make maps showing results, trends and areas of interest. We can also augment the maps with Photoshop to enhance the image should it be required for public presentation.

Illustrations
When writing a report or a presentation, it is sometimes necessary to produce an image to illustrate your point, alas sometimes drawing is not a persons strong point. We can take your sketches and ideas and turn them into meaningful and informative images.

Cross Sections
Using Photoshop, we can digitize sections for presentation. We can either use your interpretation or create our own with your data.

Posters
We can create summary, large scale posters using your data for displays (for example at a convention).
Beyond public use, we have found these to be very useful for end-of-year summaries in an office, or to have a picture reference for rocks and minerals that are specific to a project - great for training and inducting staff and ensuring continuity in logging.
Aerial Images & Google Earth Pro
Aerial photos are a great way to assess an area before your team heads into the field - highlighting areas of outcrop, hazards, camp sites, possible helipads, access, old workings, water sources etc. Many local governments have aerial photo plates in their libraries, and we can take those plates and mosaic them into one image.
We can also process the images further by adding them to various mapping software packages. We can georeference an image into ArcMap so that geochemical / geological and other data can be overlaid.
Other than ArcMap, we can also place images into Google Earth, pressing them onto a landscape to give hi-res terrain. The video to the left explains that concept a little further.
